Our clients, a reputable Hotel and Restaurant establishment known for its exceptional service, exquisite dining experiences, and comfortable accommodations, with a strong presence in Benin City, and growing operations in Asaba, and Warri, Delta State is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital and Social Media Marketer to amplify their online presence and drive engagement across their business locations.

Job Summary

The Digital and Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to promote the Hotel and Restaurant’s products and services online in both Benin City, Warri and Asaba. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative content creation, and a deep understanding of social media trends and digital marketing tools to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and ultimately increase sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Implementation:
    • Design and execute innovative digital marketing and social media strategies aligned with business objectives and brand identity.
    • Oversee all online marketing efforts been implement per time
  • Content Creation & Management:
    • Lead the creation of engaging and visually stunning content, including high-quality photographs and videos, showcasing all outlets (hotel rooms, restaurants, event spaces, amenities, etc.) in Benin City and Asaba.
    • Develop and manage a content calendar for all digital platforms, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
    • Write compelling copy for social media posts
  • Social Media Management:
    • Manage and grow the company’s presence across key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn
    • Monitor social media channels for trends, engagement opportunities, and customer feedback, responding promptly and professionally.
    • Implement social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Local Market Promotion:
    • Tailor digital marketing efforts to effectively target and engage audiences in both Benin City, Warri and Asaba, understanding local nuances and events.
    • Identify and collaborate with local influencers and partners to expand reach and promote special offers or events when management decides to engage influencers.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Work closely with the management teams in both Benin City and Asaba to align marketing activities with operational goals.
    • Prepare and present regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for strategic adjustment.

Qualifications

  • HND/Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proven work experience (minimum 2-5 years) as a Digital Marketing Manager or Social Media Manager, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or restaurant industry.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing social media platforms, creating compelling content, and running successful digital advertising campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Proficiency in photography, videography, and basic graphic design .
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
